Leicester are second in the Premier League and in the title race for the first time since they won a shock crown in 2016.
Brighton are on a run of three successive wins at home, where they have been beaten just once in the league this term.
But the Foxes are flying on all cylinders at the moment so 21/20 they leave the south coast with all three points is our opening Brighton vs Leicester prediction.
A Look At Brighton & Hove Albion’s Betting Odds
Brighton had posted back-to-back home wins over Everton and Norwich before going down 3-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Andreas Pereira opened the scoring in the 17 minute with Davy Propper’s own goal doubling United’s advantage two minutes later.
Lewis Dunk halved the deficit in the 64 minute but Brighton’s hopes of a comeback were dashed when Marcus Rashford quickly added a third.
After battling against relegation last season, which contributed to the sacking of Chris Hughton, the Seagulls went into the latest international break sitting 11 on 15 points.
Brighton are yet to beat Leicester in the Premier League, losing three of their four meetings, and last year drew 1-1 despite playing against 10 men for over an hour after James Maddison was sent off.
Striker Neal Maupay told the club website: “They have pace and quality on the ball and they like to score goals as well.
“It could be an open game, but we must defend well as they will be a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes.
“We are satisfied with where we are in the league at the moment. It’s a long season, though, so we still need to stay focused.”
Four of Brighton’s six home games have been goalless at the break and that has been the scoreline in two of Leicester’s away matches.
Looking at the Brighton vs Leicester odds, Draw HT/Leicester FT at 17/4 has strong appeal.
Last Brighton line-up: Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Burn, Stephens, Propper, Trossard, Alzate, Maupay, Connolly.
A Look At Leicester City’s Betting Odds
Goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison fired Leicester to a 2-0 home win over Arsenal last time out.
Vardy once again proved to be the scourge of the Gunners as he scored his ninth goal in as many appearances in this fixture before setting up Maddison to seal victory.
It was a sixth win in seven top-flight games – the other a stoppage-time 2-1 loss at Liverpool – and they are nine points clear of fifth-placed Sheffield United.
But defender Jonny Evans refused to get drawn into title talk, saying: “I don’t think you’ll be able to judge that until after Christmas when we’re getting into it.
“We know how seasons can finish. It’ll be tough. We need a big squad to do that, and all firing in the right directions.
“We’ve shown we can battle games out but we’ve just got to do what we’re doing and see where it takes us.
“It’s still really early on in the season. If you look at it there’s still teams like Sheffield United sitting fifth. So we know it’s going to be a long season and every team can beat everyone.
“We’re in good confidence at the moment but the next period, especially being Christmas, will really test everyone’s squad.”
Leicester have netted at least twice in six of their last seven top-flight fixtures and have kept three successive clean sheets.
We are going for another 2-0 win for the visitors at 19/2 to complete our Brighton vs Leicester betting tips.
Last Leicester line-up: Schmeichel, Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Tielemans, Ndidi, Perez, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy.
